is a Victorian Government initiative that will give Victoria a better
vocational education and training system. [Click here] for further information.
Eligibility for access to government subsidised places will depend on
certain factors such as age and prior educational history. There will
also continue to be a citizenship/residency aspect to eligibility. For
people aged up to 20 – Government subsidised places will be available
for training at any qualification level.
For people aged 20 and over – Government subsidised places will be
available for training at the foundation skills level and for any
qualification higher than the qualifications already held.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
This means that we are able to offer government funded courses to
all individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. Small
business owners, existing employees, casual employees, and even
unemployed individuals can now access government funded
training at a fraction of the usual cost.
